- About Me & MY WHY
Hi there! I’m Julia, a photographer and travel creator passionate about helping you explore the world with confidence and curiosity.
My journey into solo travel began in 2014 with a trip to Hamburg, Germany. At the time, the idea of traveling alone was terrifying—I didn’t know the city, had no idea how to navigate public transport in a different city & was nervous about being on my own. But that trip turned out to be one of the most transformative experiences of my life, because I quickly realized how much I underestimated myself.
Solo travel has taught me so many invaluable skills—from problem-solving & embracing new cultures to building self-confidence and finding joy in the unexpected. It also sparked a deep love for discovering hidden gems & sharing these experiences with others.
What really struck me, though, was how often I heard people say, “Oh wow, you’re so brave! I would never dare to travel on my own.” So many people shared that they’d love to travel solo but were held back by fear. That’s when I realized I wanted to help others overcome those fears and take the leap. Now, I’m on a mission to empower you to embark on the solo trip you’ve always dreamed of.
